TECHPERFORMANCE
Solution · Ecommerce

Your store, no surprises.
Custom or WooCommerce, checkout always up.

Managed infrastructure for ecommerce projects, from custom platforms to WooCommerce stores: dedicated environment, caching and tuning shaped on the purchase funnel, bots kept out, promos planned with the technical team. Flat fee: your revenue is yours, not a billing basis.

The problem

Three things anyone selling online knows well.

01
// anti-pattern · ecommerce

A fee that grows with revenue, not with load.

On many platforms the fee tracks your sales or your visits: you sell more, you pay more, even when the technical load is the same. Your best quarter becomes their best quarter.

02
// anti-pattern · ecommerce

Promo peaks get paid for twice.

Black Friday, a TV campaign, an influencer that works: either the infrastructure slows down right when you convert best, or you scale it up and the overage arrives. Either way, the promo costs more than planned.

03
// anti-pattern · ecommerce

The agency built the site. The infrastructure is an orphan.

The code has a parent; hosting, updates, backups, bots and checkout security often do not. As long as everything works, nobody notices. You notice the first night something goes wrong.

How we run it

The purchase funnel dictates the configuration.

First we measure how your customers actually buy: where they land, what they add to the cart, when they abandon. Then we tune caching, PHP pools and the database on that flow, not on a standard template. The result is a store that is fast where it matters and stable when the promo pushes.

  • Same team from single store to multi-store.
  • 1h intervention with an SRE, not a dispatcher.
  • Infrastructure entirely in the EU.

checkout-safe
  • Dedicated environment, guaranteed resources
container or VPS sized on your real catalogue and traffic, not on a tiered plan
  • Redis object cache + PHP-FPM tuning
sessions, cart and checkout tuned on the observed purchase flow
  • Full-page cache with smart bypass
fast product pages and listings, cart and checkout always dynamic
  • WAF and bot mitigation
scraping, carding and scanners stopped at the edge, before they touch checkout
  • Staging and controlled deploys
plugins and changes tested in staging, releases without stopping sales
  • Frequent backups with restore drills
short RPO on orders and catalogue, restores tested periodically, not hoped for
  • 24/7 monitoring, 1h intervention
an engineer who knows your store, outside office hours too
Expected results

Promos go back to being good news.

When the infrastructure is sized on the real funnel and watched by people who know it, the peak is a planned event. Marketing pushes, checkout holds, the invoice does not move.

0 fee

on your sales. The fee depends on the workload, not on revenue: scaling your sales does not scale your bill.

green CWV

on product pages and listings. Perceived speed where the purchase is decided, measured on real traffic.

< 1h

guaranteed intervention, 24/7. Checkout problems do not wait for office hours; neither do we.

Reference setup

Italian B2C ecommerce with seasonal peaks.

A store with a large catalogue, seasonal campaigns that multiply traffic within hours, and a significant share of bot traffic to keep out of the funnel. Goal: fast product pages, a checkout that holds under peak, predictable costs all year round.

technical watch

During campaigns, traffic triples within hours: the cache absorbs the storefront, checkout stays dynamic and watched, bot traffic is filtered before it weighs on the funnel. Promos are planned with the technical team, not left to hope.

Typical setup, not a specific customer case study. The figures are consistent with the pattern observed across ecommerce stores run by Tech Performance.

FAQ

The questions ecommerce managers and agencies ask us.

If yours is different, write to us: we reply within the day.

What kind of ecommerce do you run?
Ecommerce projects of every kind: custom platforms (Laravel, headless with Next.js, proprietary frontends over an ERP) and of course WooCommerce as well. The application stack changes, the operating model does not: dedicated environment, funnel-tuned caching, WAF, backups, active watch.
Can we migrate without stopping sales?
Yes, and that is how we always do it: the new environment is prepared in parallel, data and media are synchronised, the cutover is rehearsed in staging, and DNS is switched in a low-traffic window. The old environment stays ready for rollback until the numbers confirm everything is fine.
How do you handle Black Friday and major campaigns?
We plan them together, in advance. We size for the expected peak, prepare caching and scaling, and actively watch during the hot window. The fee does not change for a planned peak: a promo is a technical event to prepare, not a surprise on the invoice.
Who develops the site: you or our agency?
Your choice. We happily work alongside your agency or in-house team: they own the code and the catalogue, we own infrastructure, deploys and performance, with shared staging and clear responsibilities. If needed, we can take on development as well.
What about payments and PCI-DSS?
Payments stay on certified gateways (Stripe, PayPal, Nexi, Scalapay...): card data never touches your server, and the PCI perimeter remains theirs. We take care of the surroundings that often get neglected: up-to-date TLS, constant patching, WAF, access control and logging.
